Writer's Blog: The Sequel to <I>Marley and Me</I>

The Writers Write blog discusses the follow up book to Marley and Me, and also the feature film of the original book, with Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston staring.

I loved this book, on my own reading list of 2008, but am so far uncertain if I want to watch a hollywoodised version of it, especially if they take the comedy route. For me, it was about a real-life dog and a relationship - and cutting it down to a few minutes will be difficult. Coming out for Christmas this year, never-the-less.

Holly Lisle's How to Think Sideways I really hope I get into the first intake on this six month course. I love Holly Lisle’s ‘on writing’ stuff, and can see an application of some of the agenda for this course, into other creative endevours also.

WordWeb Pro: English dictionary, thesaurus, and word finder software. Free dictionary and thesaurus on tap on a PC - searches web also, of course. A great free tool for writers.

LibraryThing: Member home pages LibraryThing has a new homepage function. It looks good, although I hadn’t realised how much information there is on there, until looking at all of it centered like that for my own homepage, lol.
